CCTV Camera Upgrade on an Existing System

The Brief

A customer in Renfrewshire had an existing CCTV system with a camera under the soffit that had been painted over in place. The camera looked tired and was no longer giving the clear picture it was there for. They wanted it sorted without the cost of replacing the whole system.

What We Did

Our work included:

• Checked the existing setup: Looked over the old camera and its position to confirm a straight swap was the sensible option.
• Removed the old camera: Took down the painted-over unit from under the soffit.
• Fitted a new black turret camera: Installed a modern turret camera in the same spot, keeping the job neat and the coverage where the customer needed it.
• Set up and tested: Adjusted the camera angle and checked the picture so the customer had clear footage of the area again.

The Result

The customer now has clear footage from that part of the property again, from a smart new camera that looks the part, without the expense of ripping out a working system. If you have an older system that needs attention, our security system takeover and CCTV installation services cover Paisley, Renfrewshire and Glasgow.
